What is Prente Art Market?

Prente is an art event at the end of August in Knokke Belgium run by Ceceedraws and the youth centre ‘t Verzet. All promotional material is made by Ceceedraws.

The main goal of Prente is to give back to the community by giving small independent artists a chance to show their work, make connections in the industry and bringing people together. So in January of 2023 I reached out to the local youth group to do just that.

The first edition took place in Summer 2023, in which over 80 incredible artists participated. Although the focus is directed to illustration we had a range of different media being representated at Prente including illustration, textile arts, pottery, video games, zines, print making, etc. We also give our attending artists the chance to participate in portfolio reviews done by Belgian publishing houses including Standaard Uitgeverij.

We had our second edition on the 17th of August 2024 With more then 90 artists! You can check out picture of this years event down below!
